Can I connect a separate subwoofer null

No, you can not connect a sub woofer to this.

There appears to be two models of this sound bar, one with (2.1) and one without (2.0) a sub woofer. I think you have to get the 2.1 model to get the Sub woofer but I'm not sure. I have the 2.0 model and there aren't any sub woofer installation instructions included.
