Q: QuestionI'd like to install it over my stove. Does it have a strong light that helps you see your cooking?

• A:Answer Yes, 2 setting light switch - low and normal. You can probably switch out the bulb if you need even more light.... Normal setting is quite bright enough for me....

Q: QuestionIs there a way to use a shelf to mount this above the stove? There is no upper cabinet over the stove.. Or perhaps brackets it can be placed on. Does the company have any product for this type of install?

• A:Answer Hi Rebel. The LG 2.0 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven with EasyClean®, Model # LMV2031SW does not have feet on it and it has a Cooktop/Countertop light under it and grease filters so it cannot be installed on a shelf. It is designed to be installed above a range oven or countertop under your upper kitchen cabinets. If you don't have an upper kitchen cabinet to install it under, then you may want to consider a Countertop microwave oven that can be placed on a shelf which will shield the countertop microwave oven from the heat that is generated by the range oven below it...^IFV

• A:Answer It does have 1 light on the bottom. I think it is too dim. Our previous LG microwave had 2 lights and was much nicer and brighter to use when cooking on the stove top.

Q: QuestionWe recently purchased an LG lmv2031st. The cabinet above the oven was too big - so we removed it. Is there some kit or "L" type brackets that we can get to secure the microwave from the top ?

• A:Answer The microwave is designed to be hung from a cabinet above. Go to Home Depot, etc or even Craigslist and find a cabinet that will work. Do you have a cabinet above your refrigerator?..they should be the same size as the cabinet above the range...use that cabinet instead (if you have one).

Q: QuestionSo, this version has an Energy Saving feature that turns off the clock. It is not lit up unless you are using it, correct? If what I see is right, there is no way to disable this feature and allow the clock to stay on at all time, right?

Q: QuestionPlease advise as to the mounting system of (LG) over the range microwaves.Same question as prior question. How does the LG Manufacturer of over the range microwave ovens mount? From the top as many GE ovens mount, or on the wall? Or is there a dual mounting system that can be used either top or wall.

• A:Answer DCH, That is a question you will need to contact Best Buy's Geek Squad about and they may have to do a site survey or consultation to determine how the unit can be mounted. They will need to determine if you wall can support the weight of the LMV2031SW Over-the-Range Microwave, they need to know what type of walls you have so the right tools can be used, they will need to determine if you have the requisite height from the cooking surface of your oven to install this unit and they will need to confirm that you have the right power source which they will not install for you and if that needs to be done, it will have to be done prior to the installation or mounting of the unit. You probably will need to consult a qualified Electrician for that. There is a lot that goes into mounting the unit, like finding the studs in the wall to mount the unit and to make sure that they are not drilling into any existing power lines or water pipes within the wall or a gas line...IFV
