Hello! You must conect the soundbar to your tv using one of the 2 options: optical wired or HDMI ARC. The subwoofer is connected to the sound bar by Bluetooth. Also you can pair your soud bar to devices like iphone, ipads etc using the Bluetooth technology.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.stay very far away from entry level LG or Sony soundbars and probably Samsung too. Anything under $400 is going to give tinny sound and I'm not joking when I say that your TV speakers will most likely have better audio than these. It blew my mind I bought 3 different sound bars of the past 3 years and none of them sounded good. The bluetooth weakens the sound signal making the quality poor and it cuts out. If you don't believe me, buy one, and you will be returning it the next day like I did.
