Did you plug the HDMI in ARC on your tv and the soundbar?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The setting is not in the LG 2.1 ch High Resolution Audio Sound Bar, Model # SJ4Y-S or any Sound Bars. The audio that comes through the Sound Bar is streamed from your TV. Sometimes television stations will play commercials at a louder volume than regular programming in an attempt to attract your attention, making for an unpleasant viewing experience. Many TVs have a menu option designed to level out the volume so that commercials and shows are the same volume. You can access this option through the main menu. Look in your TV's audio menu settings for a feature called "Auto Volume Leveler (AVL)" or it might be called something different in your TV, check your TV's manual for more information...^IFV
