“I am interested in this because I want completely wireless. Is it truly wireless (other than power), or is only the sub woofer wireless. does the sound bar have to plug into the tv, or can it be connected via bluetooth? Thank you”

The LG 2.1 ch High Resolution Audio Sound Bar, Model # SJ4Y-S uses Bluetooth Technology (Version 4.1)) so it can be paired to a Bluetooth enabled TV to stream audio wirelessly via Bluetooth. It also has an Optical Digital Audio Input that you can use to connect to the Optical Digital Audio Output of a TV that does not have Bluetooth capability. It has an HDMI input that you can also use to connect to TVs that have an HDMI output on them, and an it also has an HDMI ARC (HDMI Out) port that can be connected to a TV that supports the HDMI ARC functionality and allows you to send audio to the TV or from the TV via that port using the same HDMI cable...^IFV

Please try again later.Yes this is completely wireless other then plugging in for power and the sound bar does have to be plugged into the T.V they give you an optical cord that comes with it but it depends on what your T.V output is if its HDMI then you will have to buy an HDMI and this is Bluetooth but i have only used mine for music off my phone. hope that helps
