• It does not it is always on it does however dim after you make your adjustment

• It's constantly on but it dims to the point the LED light is barely visible after changing the setting.

• Check your owners manual. Mine said it could, but only let me access the setting when i first set it up. After that, i couldnt... At least not until i updated the soundbar software using the LG soundbar app. After the update, the option was available in settings again. Now the display fades out to completely off after about 30 seconds.
