• Not any louder - if even as loud - as microwaves operated in the past. Definitely not a problem!

• There are 4 fan speeds. The lowest is only moderately noisy but the highest is quite loud. I have mine vented to the outside which may be quieter than recirculating the exhaust into the kitchen.
