“This dryer takes a LONG time to dry. I did two loads of towels (four towels in each load). EACH load took three and a half hours to do. My older machine took 48 mins for the same load. Why does it take so long?”

It's a heat pump, not sure why LG answered it saying check dryer vent as this model is ventless! A heat pump will always take longer to dry.
