Sorry ... we did not install the ice maker, our water is too hard for it to be useable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best Buy installed my mothers! I had to buy a metal "waterline kit" (only one they carry for $29.99) to connect to the ice maker from the back of the refrigerator to the water source! It only took them 10 minutes to install!!

Check the back of the bottom freezer for a mounting bracket and a plugged hole. If you find them, it's compatible with an ice maker. 2. Ensure there's a water connection and valve behind the fridge. The ice maker needs a cold water line with 20-120 psi pressure. 3. If you meet these conditions, you can add an ice maker to your fridge. The compatible kit is the LG LK65C automatic ice maker kit.
