When refrigerators are delivered, it is not uncommon for them to come with a plastic film over the unit, including the trim that is meant to protect the appliance during shipping and delivery and is supposed to be removed by the delivery personnel. Usually, there will be documentation, a decal on the plastic sticker or something in the owner's manual instructing you to peel the sticker off.
