“Can the ice maker be removed? We don't need it and would prefer to have extra room in the freezer! Are there instructions for removing it ourselves?”

French Door Refrigerator, Model # LFC22770SW is a Factory Installed Ice Maker and is tied into the inner electronics of the refrigerator and cannot be removed. It has an On/Off switch so that you can turn it off when not using it, but it cannot be removed...^IFV

• Not that I know of, but it can be turned off (easy to locate internal switch), which is what I did.
