QUIET , I am young :) not really 55 and am sensitive to sounds, sounds drive me crazy , this is very quiet , you don't hear it run , and I have not noticed a sound when the ice drops

It's quiet. If I open the doors for awhile and the engine kicks on I can just faintly hear a quiet hum, but when we first got it and hooked it up, I was not sure it was on as I wasn't hearing much, but sure enough within a few hours the fridge was cool and the freezer was freezing.

I have no clue, the refrigerator was ordered on June 4, 2017, and up to this date it hasn't been delivered.
