“Why does the water and the ice taste off? We just had this refrigerator installed, along with a new water line, and we pushed a few gallons of water through the new filter before drinking, and it still tastes off. Any idea what to do?”

I would change the filter. We haven't experienced this problem. Amazon sells water filters for a fraction of what you can buy them at stores locally.
