I am wondering if the chill and the freezer drawers can stay open when loading items into them. If so how can I keep them open till I am done loading? null

Ours will not stay open either. 
Additionally, had to set the freezer temp to -2. The refrigerator is barely 6 mos. old.

The Door Alarm function is designed to prevent refrigerator malfunctioning that could occur if a refrigerator door or freezer drawer remains open. If a refrigerator door or freezer drawer is left open for more than 60 seconds, a warning alarm sounds at 30 second intervals. The refrigerator doors and freezer drawers close automatically when you push them slightly.(The door only closes automatically when it is open at an angle of less than 30°.)
