“The width of the space we want to put this appliance in is 36in. Recommendations indicate 36 1/4". Is the 1/4 " an absolute? TIA”

• I just measured mine twice : Width is accurate. It is definitely 36-1/4". Space should probably be 36-1/2 inches for it to slide in easily.
