- Answer Hi Mary, once you open the French doors, the control panel will be at the top edge of the refrigerator. This is where you have the temperature settings of the fridge. QuestionHow much clearance is needed at the front for the doors to open? I would like to build my cabinet side panels to cover the sides of the refrigerator as much as possible for a built in look.

- Answer When side doors are open, they need 3/4 inch extra space on each side. See photos. So I'd suggest an inch extra space on each side of this frig for built in width

QuestionWhen the doors are open at they in line with the refrigerator or are they proud? I looked at a few models where when opened the doors had a 3/4 inch overhang vs flush with the side of the refrigerator.

QuestionMy refrigerator sits against a side wall. Cut out size is W 38 1/4" (including door casing of 3/4" on the side wall), H 71 1/4", D 33 3/4". Is this enough space for LFCC22426S? Will doors be able to open fully and shelves be removed?

QuestionI have a wall on the left side that will extend 4 inches beyond the front of the fridge. The door handles will miss but I am concerned about the drawers and shelves not able to be removed if the door cannot be opened beyond 90 degrees.

QuestionCan this be installed without the icemaker?

- Answer Why not? The icemaker is in the freezer, of course, and there has to be a water line into the freezer for the icemaker to function. So, just don't hook it up.
