A:Answer I just opened my doors 45 degrees (1/4th of a circle) and the drawers slide out as far as designed. To take them out for cleaning, I open doors about 60 degrees and they come out. Most counter depths stick out about 4 to 6 inches, If for some reason your counters are the exact depth of this fridge-including the doors (extra deep...but I have never seen this), you would need an extra 4" on each side ...so an opening 44-1/2" in order for doors to open as above.
