It is battery operated wireless mic with electric wifi receiver attached through jumbo plug to unit amplifier.

It has a quarter inch mic input jack and should work with most non powered(no battery) dynamic type plug in microphones. Best Buy has some of these on their website including Singing machine SMM205P, Karaoke USA M187 and M 189, and Dynamic Vocal Microphone SCR105.
