A: I dont think any phone has the plug in port for this microphone. You would have to get a karaoke machine along with it. I know the karaoke machine that I bought has bluetooth, so you can sync your phone to it to use the music from the phone.

The microphone is a standard microphone and it has nothing to do with the ability to record on your Chromebook. Does your Chromebook include a 6.3MM Microphone Jack? Does your Chromebook include the option to record? If you are not sure, have you contacted the Chromebook's manufacture's support teach for assistance with compatibility and how to record on your Chromebook?
