A:AnswerYou'll need a water line kit and try to have the line installed and ready to go when the refrig gets delivered. Let the delivery guys do their thing, including making the water line connection - they're familiar with what's needed. The documentation that comes with the refrig. stinks.
I think the plastic kit (instead of copper) you can get is more durable. Also (now) there is a "tee" that you can replace your cold water shut off valve with, and tap off that for the water line to the refrig. Don't get the one that pierces the water supply line to tap off for the water line to the refrig. Also get some pro advice as to how to make a good compression connection at both ends of the refrig supply line. Copper to plastic - plastic to copper - whatever - may require different methods/hardware.
A:AnswerYes, that is normal. Keep in mind that when when you set the temperature on your LG - 23.8 Cu. Ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator Model # LDC24370ST, the temperature that you set it at is your target temperature, but the actual temperature of the refrigerator may be reading differently because the actual refrigerator temperature depends on the food inside the refrigerator. If you hear the compressor still running, then be patient and allow the refrigerator to lower the temperature to or close to what you set it at. Opening the doors frequently will lengthen the amount of time it takes for the refrigerator to achieve that temperature. Other factors that will affect this are the ambient temperature of where the refrigerator is installed. Ideally, the refrigerator should be installed in an area where the temperature is between 55°F (13°C) and 110°F (43°C). If the temperature around the appliance is too low or high, cooling ability may be
adversely affected. The installation clearances can also affect the refrigerator's cooling capabilities, too small of a distance from adjacent items may result in lowered freezing capability and increased electricity consumption charges...^IFV

A:AnswerHello JKL, the LG LG - 23.8 Cu. Ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator can maintain the temperature but you also need to make sure that you do not have food blocking the vents which keeps the air from circulating properly, opening the doors frequently will also affect the internal temperature because it adds adds room temperature which raises the temperature or hot food items will temporarily warm the unit requiring the compressor to run longer to bring the temperature down...^IFV
