• The installer set the temperature on mine to 37 degrees up top and 0 in the freezer. Indeed, ice cream is pretty hard at that setting, as hard as my deep freezer.

• When i first got this freezer i had it on -6 degrees. After a few days I turned it to 8f that seems to work.
