It depends upon where the leak is located. My water line from the ice maker to the connector on the fridge leaked and was able to replace it with tubing from Home Depot. However my water line from the water pipes to the fridge was copper tubing that split because the installer bent it. The isolation valve was stuck open, so I had to shut off the water to the house and call a plumber to repair the copper tubing.
