“Is there a way to keep dinner plates standing up? I can't seem to find a way to load my dinner plates so that they do not fall into each other when the lower rack is moved. I have trouble sliding the lower rack smoothly, but even when I am able to get it to glide correctly, my plates clatter into each other, it seems like the times are too short.”

• The best way to load the plates to keep them from falling into each other in the LG Semi-Integrated Dishwasher with Flexible EasyRack™ Plus System, Model # LDS5540ST is as was described in the response that was already given. The back section has longer tines that will hold the plates upright and keep them from falling into each other and the front section with the shorter tines is more for side plates...^IFV

• We load the plates in the back section (where the tynes are further apart), and we have no problem with them standing up or banging into one another.
