A:Answer I'm not sure what it means, but I can tell you I replaced a 21 year old dishwasher with this model and i do surely miss my old one. This unit will NOT dry your dishes at all without a rinse aid such as Jetdry. I washed 2 loads without using a drying rinse aid, and i also pushed the"extra dry" button...they came out soaking wet. I called LG, they said you cannot go without a drying rinse agent. I sure wish the sales people at Best buy told me. I would have looked for an old fashioned dishwasher that still uses heating coils to help dry along with the optional rinse aid. I have tried a load with a rinse aid, and it was much better.
