“Does this dishwasher sanitize? Why is it not NSF certified ?”

• I believe that the steam cycle will raise the interior temperature high enough to insure that most germs and viruses are eliminated. Also, just washing dishes and glassware thoroughly (which this unit certainly does!) and then drying them will eliminate almost all bacteria and viruses. I have no idea why the unit is not NSF certified but I suspect that the certification process may be more trouble than the benefits it would bring.
