QuestionI leave my dishwasher door open for some time after the cycle in order to let the inside dry. Will the light stay on as long as the door is open? Is there a button to turn off the light if the door will be open for a long time?

- Answer The light turns off automatically after a short period of time. However, we have found that the interior is very dry inside, especially using the "Night Dry" option.

- Answer No, but it is not necessary. The "Night Dry" option will leave open a vent inside the door which provides the same functionality while keeping the dishes inside sanitized (if the steam option is enabled).

QuestionWhat is the total depth when the door is closed? The LG website says 26 13/16, but that seems awfully deep. That would stick out way beyond a normal 24" counter depth.

- Answer When my dishwasher was installed the person installing said that the hose is bigger and so it has to switch out further. It is just slightly out so that you can see the top controls.

- Answer There is no "average" - the cycles run for as long as they are programmed to run. For example, the one-hour cycle really runs for one hour, but it will be longer if you add extra drying time ("Dry Boost").
