QuestionCan you remove the ice tray and maker? We live in the country and dont have filtered water, the ice tray/maker just takes up precious storage.

- Answer Yes the ice tray is removable. And if you want you can just use it to store freezer stuff. We have also not connected the fridge to the water outlet so just turned off the ice maker button inside the freezer & use the ice tray to compartmentalize freezer stuff.

QuestionHow many pounds or gallons can the shelves hold? Seems like there shud be support for the shelves on the back too, and not just the sides

QuestionWhat is the width of the unit with the door open at 90 degrees? Does the door sit flush with the side of the unit when open, or does it increase the width needed? It is going next to a wall on one side and will not be able to open more than 90 degrees.

- Answer The door increases about 2 inches width when open and opens about 25 degrees more if you have the space. Remember that you can change the door to open either side. It come with the opening to the right side. See the photos below.

QuestionI'm wondering if the veggie bins are deep enough to easily fit large heads of broccoli and cabbage? I eat a lot of veggies and I've noticed that some models don't have very large veggie bins. Thanks! Ali

- Answer The bins are about 6-3/4 inches deep. It might depend on the head you purchase, but I think they would fit.

QuestionThis question is specifically for LG LRDCS2603S. There is a filter only for the ice maker. We have a reverse osmosis system. Does this have a built in bypass to not use a filter or does an additional item, plug, need to be purchased? If so, part #?

- Answer Thank you for your interest in the LG 26 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator (LRDCS2603S) model. To use a reverse osmosis (RO) system without the filter in your LG LRDCS2603S refrigerator, you can use a water filter bypass plug. This plug, with the part number ABN73019101, attaches to the water filter head and creates a direct path for water flow. It allows the water to flow to the dispenser and ice maker without going through the filtration system. This plug is specifically designed to accommodate the use of an RO system in the refrigerator without needing the filter. - Answer If you are talking about the plastic plug for the door front where the handle attaches then you should go to an online appliance store such as appliance pros and order one and do it right. Or for any other screw as well. Just get the model number from inside refrigerator.
