    • Answer There is a water filter, but that is to filter water for the ice maker. It does not dispense filtered water for drinking.

Based on the Owner's manual page 21 to connect your ice maker to the water supply, you will need the following parts: Copper or PEX Tubing: 1/4 inch outer diameter. 1/2 inch or adjustable wrench. Flat-blade and Phillips screwdrivers. Two 1/4 inch outer diameter compression nuts and 2 ferrules (sleeves). If your existing copper water line has a flared fitting, an adapter may be needed. Please ensure all installations are in accordance with local plumbing code requirements and connect to a cold, potable water supply only.   • QuestionAny problems with the plastic part of the shelves breaking? We have a LG ~8 yrs & had to replace the shelves multiple times. Now the top one broke. I want to get a new fridge, but concerned about getting another LG if it has the same design problem.

  • QuestionIt has started to make very little ice, perhaps two dozen cubes daily. I have turned on the Ice Plus feat, but even that is not effective. I did get the product protection plan. Is this a repair issue?

    • Answer During the defrost cycle, condensate is directed to a pan from which it evaporates. Check for things like the drain hole being plugged or iced over, or the drain tube being disloged.

To replace the water filter on the LG refrigerator model LRDCS2603S, first locate the filter, which is typically found inside the refrigerator compartment, either in the upper right corner or on the ceiling. Remove the old filter by turning it counterclockwise or pressing a release button if it’s a push-button type. Install the new filter by inserting it into the compartment and turning it clockwise until it is securely in place, or push it in until it clicks if it’s the push-button type. Finally, run water through the dispenser for a few minutes to clear out any air or residues from the new filter.
