Hi there, Gloria. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your inquiry regarding the LG 25.5 Cu. Ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator. To fully open the doors and provide enough clearance for the interior drawers to slide out, we recommend a minimum width of approximately 42 to 45 inches, allowing the door to open to at least 90 degrees.

At least 16-18 inches. It’s an attractive, spacious refrigerator. I’ve had it about a month and so far I have really enjoyed it.
