• You do not have to connect a waterline or use the icemaker. Be sure to turn the icemaker off. ^Daphane

• Will not get ice if you don’t set it up.freezer will work fine with out ice maker

• I don't have a water hook-up. I turned the icemaker off and it all works fine. Must read the manual.
