To prevent frost buildup, you will want to limit frequent openings of the doors and keep the freezer compartment correctly filled. Reduce the amount of time the freezer is left open which will help keep the temperature inside the freezer consistent & cold. Make sure that the door is properly closed each time you use it. When exposed to too much heat or cold can cause the freezer to work overtime resulting in frost buildup. Break up large packages into smaller, airtight packages. Smaller packages freeze better. Clean the freezer seal (also referred to as the gasket) monthly by wiping it down with a soapy cloth. Add bleach if you see mold, and if it is ripped or torn, replace it. Don't block the freezer's airflow by pushing it too close to the wall. The coils in the back of the refrigerator need some space to cool your freezer efficiently...^IFV

A:AnswerNo it is not. It is a little better then the regular stainless steel and the fingerprints aren't as noticable. I am really disappointed because I thought this was supposed to be fingerprint proof. I still have to wipe it down several times a day.
A:AnswerMine was delivered 2 weeks ago and both ice makers were in the "on" position. The lower ice maker's switch is hard to see, it's at the top of the freezer compartment. The lower one started making ice before the upper one. I turned it off since I don't need that much ice in the winter... Good Luck!
