• When you replace the water filter in the G 6.2 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless Steel, Model # LSXS26326S, when it is rotated up into position and the cover is closed, the cover will click when closed correctly. The water filter has tabs on it and with the water filter tabs in a horizontal position, you would need to push it into the manifold until it stops. Installing the water filter in correctly and properly is the only way to ensure that it works. If it is not installed correctly, the refrigerator will not detect it and the water filter indicator will come on as it does when the water filter needs replacing...^IFV
