Our icemaker does not fill bin to top also. We get about half a bin of ice. I think this has to do with the autostop arm that rises as ice fills the bin and turns off icemaker so it won't overflow. It can be adjusted.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do the same...every night when I fill a cup with ice water for middle of the night drinking water needs. I just pull most of the ice cubes to the front of the tray and the next morning it's full of ice!
