QuestionHello! Does the ice bin fill up to the top? We recently purchased this fridge & the ice only fills up a quarter of the bin. Wanted to know if perhaps we are doing something wrong on our end? We have filled and dumped it, but still doesn't fill to the top.

- Answer Our icemaker does not fill bin to top also. We get about half a bin of ice. I think this has to do with the autostop arm that rises as ice fills the bin and turns off icemaker so it won't overflow. It can be adjusted.

Ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with Internal Water Dispenser and Icemaker - PrintProof™ Stainless Steel, Model # LMWS27626S that cannot be operated without a water line connection is the Ice Maker and the Water Dispenser. However, if you are not looking to connect the refrigerator to a water line, the Ice Maker has a power switch on it and you will have to make sure you turn the Ice Maker off. Other functions for the refrigerator will work normally...^IFV

QuestionAre the doors attached when the refrigerator is delivered? Not sure it will fit in the doorways with them attached during delivery.

- Answer The French doors are NOT attached during delivery. I had the same concerns and doors, as well as drawers, are wrapped and brought in separately.

QuestionHi The two doors do not seem to close with same feeling. One door feels lighter and needs to be pushed a bit to close it, while the other door feels heavy and needs to be held to avoid slamming shut. Is this how the refrigerator is designed?

- Answer That is not how the refrigerator is designed. What your description indicates is that the doors on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 26.9 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with Internal Water Dispenser and Ice Maker - PrintProof™ Stainless Steel, Model # LMWS27626S are not aligned and you need to align them. Both the left and right refrigerator doors have an adjustable nut, located on the bottom hinge, to raise and lower them to align properly. f the space between the doors is uneven even after the door bins are filled, you will need to follow the instructions on page 22 of your owner's manual for the refrigerator to align the doors evenly. Your refrigerator came with an included wrench that you can use to adjust the adjustable nuts for each door...^IFV

QuestionThere is a thin plastic film over the entire doors. It looks like its supposed to be on there but its dirty and lightly scratched. And you can see its edges around the LG logo and near the handles. Is this supposed to come off?

- Answer The plastic film is on your refrigerator for protection until it is installed in your home. All plastic film both outside and inside the refrigerator should be removed once it is in your home. This should be stated in your user manual.

QuestionCould someone tell me what shape ice comes from the ice maker? Strange question I know, but is it square, half moon etc? Most of the photos do not show the ice and the ones that do look different than those in the customer photos. Thank you!

QuestionIs there a turn off button for the ice maker? I would like to be able to turn off the ice maker when the ice bin is full.

- Answer There is a feeler arm that will trigger the ice maker to stop ice production because the bin is full. There is a switch that will allow you to manually turn off the icemaker. ^Daphane

- Answer It is true, its also pointed out in the manual to run and dispose a few gallons of water through the system before using it. I assume you did the same for the icemaker. The 2 items are independent systems with the same filter. Both need to be purged.

QuestionDoes the ice get stuck together? I'm concerned that since the ice doesn't get pushed through a dispenser, it's going to melt and refreeze. I don't want to have to break it up each time I got to scoop out some ice.

- Answer The filter is inside the refrigerator in the top left corner. You might have to move some items out of the way, but you don’t have to pull the refrigerator out from the wall.

QuestionAnyone else have issues with ice formation on the lower freezer door? I have ice frost accumulation on the top of the drawer at the seals at all along the rubber gaskets. Clearing it off and it reforms almost within an hour.
