This is a big design flaw of the fridge in my opinion. The door bins are so deep that they take up the space of the fridge itself (shelves and crisper drawers could be deeper). They are also spaced so far apart that you can only make effective use of the space if you have a lot of tall items. The only gallon container we use is milk and it's best not to keep it on the door. We do store dressings etc and juice on the door, but not enough to fill it all. Other items like cans etc leave all this space above them just empty. There should be at least one more bin available and more possible heights to adjust them to. (Note: this seems to be the case in most french door style refrigerators so it's not just the LG ones).
