Yes, everything else (refrigeration and freezing) works without having to connect a water line. Obviously, you won't get any water or ice cubes. We live in the country and our well gets silt when it rains. To be safe, we only drink bottled water, and also fill the ice trays with bottled water to get ice cubes.

Please try again later.You can still operate the refrigerator without a water source, the only difference is that you won't be able to use the ice maker since it does require ice.
