The listed depth of 34 7/8" for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 26 Cu. Ft. French Door-in-Door Refrigerator - Black Stainless Steel is measured from the flat back portion of the refrigerator to the part of the handles that protrudes the farthest in front of the refrigerator. That is why there is a recommended installation clearance spacing of 2" for the back to allow for airflow around the refrigerator and to allow spacing for the water line and electrical cord. All other listed depths for the refrigerator are also measured from the flat back portion of the refrigerator to the specified part that the depth is listed for. For example, the Depth Without Handle (32 3/8") is measured from the front of the door to the flat back portion of the refrigerator. Depth without Door would be the measurement for the refrigerator's cabinet...^IFV
