- Answer I haven't explored this fully but I believe it can alert the LG app on your iPhone if one of your kids left a door open and it allows Geek Squad to troubleshoot the unit remotely. It may also allow you to change the temperature when you are away on vacation but entirely sure yet.

- Answer For this refrigerator, the wifi is only useful for a service technician to diagnose some problems. This is NOT a smart refrigerator with a camera inside as some models are.

QuestionWas the fridge supposed to come with a tray to catch stray drips and melting ice? Normally fridges (and even Keurigs) come with a tray. I've had issues with water spilling over off the small shelf under the dispenser since there's no tray.

QuestionThere is a clear sticker covering the front two door facings and freezer face. Is this on there as the print proof or should I remove it all? As I see no way to remove on the front doors but the bottom freezer is lifted in a corner.

- Answer We had the same issue with the OEM filter and eventually ordered some good quality after-market replacement filters which fixed the issue.

QuestionI went and picked up my LG French Door Fridge, followed the guidelines and plugged it up. No problems then. It is now 10 hours later and still no water in the ice tray much less no ice. The fridge is at 37 degrees and the freezer at 4 degrees. Switch on.

- Answer Ours took 24 hours to make the first batch of ice. You should throw away the first 4 batches of ice because they will have a plastic taste to them.
