  • QuestionI am setting this tv up for an off tge grid cabin with no internet or cell service. I will hook up a dvd player, but also wonder if there is a way to watch downloaded movies from apps, that are on my ipad iphone, and watch them on the tv? Cord? Thanks

Make sure to use the correct adapter - Lightning to HDMI for iPad and USB-C to HDMI for newer iPhone models. Adapter: If your TV doesn't have an HDMI port, use a compatible adapter for the available ports on your TV and your Apple device. Playback: Once the connection is set up, select the corresponding input source on your TV and start playing the downloaded movies on your Apple device.   • QuestionWhen you turn on this TV, does it take you to the last channel watched or do you have to select an app from a home screen? We will be using a coax cable hook up for this TV.

    • Answer Regardless of whether you have the LG 27" Class LED Full HD Smart TV with webOS, Model # 27LQ625S-PU connected via its coaxial port or its HDMI port, it will turn on to the last channel viewed when you turned the TV off after you turn it on...^Ivan

  • QuestionI cannot find a center pedestal stand with a SMALL footprint. Most indicate they're compatible with my new LG 27" TV; bases way too big and bulky, entire unit too tall. Tech support people do not understand 'small footprint' concept. Can you HELP?

    • Answer I found one on Amazon. It can be adjusted up and down and it swivels without the stand having to move. It is a universal tv/table top stand for 19 to 43 " tv's. Sold by Hemudu. We had a little trouble with the cables because the stand blocked where they were to plug in. I think my son added some washers to add more room. It works and I love it. The original legs would not fit on the bar in the kitchen.

  • QuestionHow many bluetooth devices can it support?

    • Answer Not sure why LG is giving wrong answers about a tv I would imagine they want to sell? But, yes, this TV DOES have Bluetooth audio capability. I was able to connect my wireless Bluetooth headphones with no issues and the TV allows for playing sound through the TV speakers and a bluetooth device at the same time, or bluetooth device only. I *think* you can have 1 speaker or 2 pairs of headphones.

  • QuestionIs there an optical audio connection on this tv

    • Answer Yes, and take advantage of it, as the internal speakers of this TV sound cheap and tinny. First thing I did after purchasing it was to use the optical audio connection to bypass the internal speakers and connect to decent external speakers. Sounds terrific now.

    • Answer yes, first link your xfinity remote to your new TV. Then using the xfinity remote turn on the TV. Then also using the Xfinity remote push the TV input button at the top of the remote to get HDMI. I never use the remote that came with the new TV.

    • Answer WebOS is simply the name LG gives to the operating system they use on their TVs. Samsung uses one they call Tizen. Roku TVs naturally run the Roku OS. There are some TVs that use an OS called Android TV. Virtually all of them are based on the Linux kernel, but with enough changes that they aren't really considered Linux any longer. For example, you can't simply run a Linux app on one of these operating systems.
