  • QuestionI cannot find a center pedestal stand with a SMALL footprint. Most indicate they're compatible with my new LG 27" TV; bases way too big and bulky, entire unit too tall. Tech support people do not understand 'small footprint' concept. Can you HELP?

    • Answer I found one on Amazon. It can be adjusted up and down and it swivels without the stand having to move. It is a universal tv/table top stand for 19 to 43 " tv's. Sold by Hemudu. We had a little trouble with the cables because the stand blocked where they were to plug in. I think my son added some washers to add more room. It works and I love it. The original legs would not fit on the bar in the kitchen.

    • Answer The screen is shiny however it does not feel like glass when you tap it. It feels like some form of thin composite. I think the color on this unit is better then the color on my sons TV and we both have the same Satellite connection.

  • QuestionHow many bluetooth devices can it support?

    • Answer Not sure why LG is giving wrong answers about a tv I would imagine they want to sell? But, yes, this TV DOES have Bluetooth audio capability. I was able to connect my wireless Bluetooth headphones with no issues and the TV allows for playing sound through the TV speakers and a bluetooth device at the same time, or bluetooth device only. I *think* you can have 1 speaker or 2 pairs of headphones.

  • QuestionIs there an optical audio connection on this tv

    • Answer Yes, and take advantage of it, as the internal speakers of this TV sound cheap and tinny. First thing I did after purchasing it was to use the optical audio connection to bypass the internal speakers and connect to decent external speakers. Sounds terrific now.

  • QuestionAm I able to hook up my Xfinity cable to this TV to get the channels I pay for?

    • Answer yes, first link your xfinity remote to your new TV. Then using the xfinity remote turn on the TV. Then also using the Xfinity remote push the TV input button at the top of the remote to get HDMI. I never use the remote that came with the new TV.

  • QuestionWhat is webOS

    • Answer WebOS is simply the name LG gives to the operating system they use on their TVs. Samsung uses one they call Tizen. Roku TVs naturally run the Roku OS. There are some TVs that use an OS called Android TV. Virtually all of them are based on the Linux kernel, but with enough changes that they aren't really considered Linux any longer. For example, you can't simply run a Linux app on one of these operating systems.

  • QuestionI just purchased the 27 inch LG Full HD Smart TV with webOS thinking I could stream Peacock. Peacock can be streamed with LG webOS 3.5 or above. I cannot find anything in the LG TV packaging to indicate what type of webOS it has. Does it support Peacock?
