I think the ATI Radeon 5770 has max resolution of 2560x1600 with DVI and displayport. HDMI has 1920x1200. You can go to AMD website and find the specs for your GPU.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a graphics card that can handle the higher resolution. I have an Nvidia GTX1080 and it works fine. A lesser one may also work well. You just have to pay attention to the max resolution when you research the cards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a new video card. I got the PNY GTX1050 from BestBuy for $119.99 (Amazon price match...Thanks Jeff Bezos). I don't do gaming, but this card was a noticeable win-10 (1703-pro) improvement from my old HD-7950 for non gaming windows use. I love the LG monitor and will buy another one next time they go on sale for $399. Note: The GTX1050 will run two 4k monitor simultaneously. I learned the hard way to stay away from AMD video cards. The windows drivers a buggy, and AMD quickly drops support for Linux on older cards.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On my MacBook Pro, you have to press the option button while clicking on the “scale” button in the Display preferences. Then the higher resolution options come up. Some Apple engineer thought that this was a good idea.
