Questioncan we please get a time frame when this monitor will be available, you have dedicated people ready to dish out 800 dollars for a monitor, we need an actual reference time when we can buy it please.

- Answer I ordered on 11/6, and it took almost 20 days to get stock in. Interestingly enough, the availability didn't decrease during the video card drops, but rather from the consoles - which is fascinating because XBXX and PS5 can't utilize higher frame rates @ 4K due to the lack of HDMI2.1 (you can at 1080p, but there are far cheaper options of monitors that will do higher frame rates at 1080p). So unless you're a PC content creator, this really isn't the monitor for you. Devil is in the details, and people not reading carefully is causing the scarcity.

- Answer At some resolutions/frequencies the monitor will only support Adaptive Sync over Display Port. See the owner's manual on the support page at https://www.lg.com/hk_en/support/product/lg-27GN950-B and see pages 30-31. ^Daphane

QuestionThis is more of a PSA for this display for anyone with older video cards that do not support DSC. If you disable this in the monitors OSD you can get 4k 120hz with older video cards over display port. In my review I was wrong in stating I was stuck @95hz

The recommended resolution is 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz (HDMI) and 3840 x 2160 @ 144 Hz (DisplayPort). The monitor will not support HDMI 2.1 or 4K@120Hz. - Answer No, I don't think so, as this monitor is limited to HDMI 2.0 and lacks HDMI 2.1. I assume its a cost saving measure that I cannot understand as this means that either the new Xbox or PS5 will be limited to 60hz. LG really missed the mark with this one as HDMI 2.1 should be the standard for upcoming monitors so that they can take full advantage of the market appealing to both PC and the new console gamers.
