This monitor has Freesync 1. I am currently running an EVGA GTX 1660 with this monitor with Freesync set to Basic and it works flawlessly.

As far as Nvidia friendly, it depends on what you're looking for. I'm running two of these from a GTX 1070 with no issues. I do know that it is supposedly possible to convince Nvidia's drivers to attempt to enable G-SYNC on FreeSync monitors, even if they are not explicitly listed as G-SYNC Compatible (which these are not). I am not able to do this on my system due to my specific setup (older drivers, not the fault of these displays), but many of the LG models have been known to work well, and at least one reviewer on here indicated they were able to enable it with their RTX 2080 without any problems.
