“My previous question was that your specs online for LG TV model# 28LJ400B was 110-240vac power supply different from that on the back of the TV which says 120vac only.”

110 power is also 60 HZ sine wave. 220 power is typically 50 Hz square wave. When things work interchangeably, it is because it is instantly converted into DC using a solid state converter that can handle the full range of power types and voltages. If it is 120vac, it may not be able to do this, or at least is not rated to do this.
