A:AnswerSpectrum dropped analog channels on 2-20 in my area necessitating a cable box for any TV to receive digital channels. Upside is all channels are now in HD but at a cost of $8.50 per box per month.
A:Answer110 power is also 60 HZ sine wave. 220 power is typically 50 Hz square wave. When things work interchangeably, it is because it is instantly converted into DC using a solid state converter that can handle the full range of power types and voltages. If it is 120vac, it may not be able to do this, or at least is not rated to do this.
A:AnswerSettings button on your remote / All settings / Accessibility / right cursor, then scroll down to Audio Guidance / OK / OK on the ON-OFF until it switches to OFF.
A:AnswerI guess I will have to answer my own question here: the screws are M4 (metric). The "top" 2 holes are deeper in depth than the "bottom" 2. M4 x 12 screws work for the top holes but are too long for the bottom holes, so off to the hardware store from some M4 x 10 or 8s. A flat washer for each hole may be a good idea as well. M4 x 12s came with the mounting bracket I bought, as noted by the 1st responder. It is good practice to hand try the screws in the holes first for fit. Noted one of the screws has a little bit of a bunged up thread-would hate to find that out while trying to screw it in while attempting to mount the TV.
A:AnswerI have a Sony which does this, but I have not seen an LG that does. Specifically, when I cast to the (older, high spec, hdmi 1) Sony, it turns on and switches to the chromecast hosting hdmi input.
A:AnswerThe stand legs for the LG HD 720p LED TV - 28" Class (27.5" Diag), Model # 28LJ400B-PU do not come attached to the TV so if you are looking to wall mount it, you can just leave them in the carton that the TV is shipped in and store them away with the supplied screws. The TV has a weight of 7.1 lbs without the stand legs attached...^IFV
A:AnswerI actually just checked this on LG's website and there are no differences under the comparison checker as far as I can tell. Kind of weird. But I do see one saying "smart" and one not under the specs here.
A:AnswerThe antenna port is good for either an actual antenna (Its marked "Antenna/Cable In"), or input from your cable box. It has a digital internal tuner. It automatically recognizes the signal for both, so there is no option to change it from antenna use to cable use. Just plug the coax into it from either, and the tuner will do the rest.
A:AnswerDifferent manufacturer's have different names for HDMI-CEC and LG calls it Simplink. We don't list this TV as having that feature so I would say no it doesn't have HDMI-CEC. ^CP
