Using my infrared thermometer, I just measured the temperature of our half gallon plastic milk carton in the insta-view door and it was 37. That was a concern of mine as well but no issues so far. My guess is that reviewer did not wait the full 24 hours before loading up the fridge and doing their measurement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We love the refrigerator itself but are extremely disappointed with the water and ice. Over one month in and we still can't use the water, cube ice, and craft ice due to a strong plastic after taste. We have performed every troubleshooting step recommended by LG and isolated it to the refrigerator itself. We even had service out and were told that it is normal and will disappear with time. Once this issue goes away, the refrigerator will be perfect. For now, we have a gallon of water in the refrigerator and are buying ice from the store which takes up significant freezer space. I have seen others post online that this issue persisted for months. The common recommendation is to make sure the water filter is fully twisted to engage it. Unfortunately, that did not resolve my issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I, too, have that problem. Milk will expire before its time if kept there. Also not enough water tube to in the fride to keep a lot of cold water on demand. Maybe only 6 to 8 oz.
