This is what the ice looks like. A little white on the bottom of the balls. The only filter I have is the one that is in the refrigerator. The water line is hooked to my public water supply without any auxiliary filters. This refrigerator makes the clearest ice cubes that any refrigerator or ice machine that I have had in the past
