A:AnswerOnce the maker has been running long enough, the balls are about 2" in diameter. It only makes three a day because making proper craft ice is not a quick process, you freeze a little water at a time. Kind of like making an ice rink. Even though the machine does it- the process is still conceptually the same.
A:AnswerIf the entrance door is too narrow for the refrigerator to pass through, remove the refrigerator doors and move the refrigerator sideways through the doorway. I cannot speak to the degree of difficulty or ease to remove and re-install the doors. You can access the owner's manual at the support page at https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-LRFVS3006S.ASTCNA0 and review page 15 for the instructions. A:AnswerRegrettably, without actually seeing the white floaters that are in the water and ice that is dispensed from the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 29.7 Cu. Ft. French InstaView™ Door-in-Door® Refrigerator with Craft Ice - PrintProof™ Stainless Steel, Model # LRFVS3006S, there is no way to determine what the floaters are, or how they are getting past the water filter. The refrigerator will need to be inspected to determine what the floaters are & how they are getting into the dispensed water and ice even after you flushed the dispenser out. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience. Our Support Center at (800) 243-0000 will be able to assist making arrangements to have a service technician inspect the unit...^IFV
A:AnswerThe LG 29.7 Cu. Ft. French Smart Wi-Fi Enabled InstaView™ Door-in-Door® Refrigerator with Craft Ice™ Maker, Model # LRFVS3006S is designed to fit in a space that is 36" wide. The refrigerator has a width of 35 3/4" and the recommended installation clearance spacing for the sides is 1/8" which adds up to exactly 36". A linear foot is 12 inches wide and 25 inches deep because the standard depth of kitchen countertops is 25 inches. The refrigerator has a depth of 29 7/8" without the door and the recommended installation clearance spacing for behind the refrigerator is 2" so the refrigerator's cabinet will be 4 4/8 inches clear of the Countertop so that will not hinder the doors from opening unless you have a custom Countertop that is deeper than the standard 25". When the refrigerator doors are opened 90˚, it has a width of 44 1/4" (includes the handles) so you need a Door Edge Clearance of 4 1/4" on either side of the refrigerator from adjacent walls...^IFV
A:AnswerPiece of crap. Make 3 craft balls a day. Dor ice maker is so small too.
Forever running out of ice. Not Dual modes at all, two separate makers. Both suck
A:AnswerThe LG 29.7 cu. ft. refrigerator comes with a water filter as part of your purchase. The installation crew installs the water filter for you when they install the refrigerator.
A:AnswerI have only had this frig for about a week, but so far am very pleased with it. My 7 year old won't keep her hands off of it - especially knocking on the window to see inside. So far no smudges or prints. I have been busy with a home remodel and haven't even wiped it down yet at all, but it still looks fresh and clean.
A:AnswerAbout a 2" diameter. Ours are not full circles, like if you filled up a circle but left the top with an air pocket. Some are better shaped on the top end than others.
A:AnswerThank you for your interest in the LG Refrigerator (LRFVS3006S) model. It seems that the issue with the LG craft ice maker not producing round ice balls could be due to a few reasons. Here are some troubleshooting:
Check Power Switch and Settings: Make sure the power switch on the ice maker is on and the craft ice indicator light is also on. If not, switch it back on. Verify the settings on the control panel to ensure the ice maker is set to produce ice as desired.
Reset the Ice Maker: If the issue persists, try resetting the ice maker. Turn the power switch off and then on again. Use the test mode to check the ice maker's operation.
Check Feeler Arm and Water Supply: Ensure the feeler arm can move freely and the water supply valve is fully open for a drinkable water source.
Temperature and Time: Allow up to 48 hours for the craft ice maker to make ice, especially after installation or a reset. Set the freezer temperature to the recommended level for optimal ice production.
