QuestionCan the ice maker be used without the water filter? How often does the filter need to be replaced?

- Answer You can use the icemaker without the filter. The ice cubes may be smaller than normal. It is recommended they are changed every 6 months. ^Daphane

Questionwhat is the measurement of the door hinges? How far back do they go?

- Answer The hinges are mostly concealed and when opening the door fully the doors do not go past the frame of the refrigerator. Great hinge set up and a main reason we bought the fridge.
