Q: QuestionDoes this refrgerator have the same compressor as all the problem refrigerators having cooling problems and law suites? Or is this a new type of compressor and all issues fixed from the past models?
Asked by iman.
- A:Answer Yes it probably has the same problem compressor considering the answer that the rep gave back instead of ANSWERING the question properly. Their loss NOT buying.

Q: QuestionSeveral people stated the fridge will not get any cooler than 42 degrees. Is this true? Per safety regulations, Keep the refrigerator temperature at or below 40° F (4° C). The freezer temperature should be 0° F (-18° C). Check temperatures periodically.
Asked by Curious.
- A:Answer If the refrigerator cannot maintain a constant 37F and 0F in the freezer then something is wrong with it. I would contact LG immediately. My Kitchenaid started doing this and I ended up having to replace it after only 7 years.

Q: QuestionThis is labeled as a smart refrigerator and app compatible with the ThinQ technology. There's no wifi button or QR Code to scan for wifi compatibility. Does this connect to wifi and the ThinkQ app and if so how?
Asked by Ted.
- A:Answer LG, it came with a packet stating that it's a smart refrigerators and to connect it via the ThinQ app. In the product name and description it's titled a Smart Refrigerator. In the specs here it states it is app compatible and provides data to the app. Got it delivered this morning and cannot connect.

Q: QuestionWhat is the practical difference between the two finishes available in this model, the "PrintProof Stainless Steel" (LRFWS2906S) and the "Stainless Steel Look" (LRFWS2906V)? Isn't the "Stainless Steel Look" actually Stainless Steel?
Asked by Amkor.
- A:Answer I believe the answer is in the side panels. The V version has grey sides as opposed to the silver sides on the S version. The S version is, at this time, $100 more than the V.
