• Using windows 7 the screen was legible and there is the option to change the scale of the screen which requires a log off to take affect. The screen did not look as great on my 2012 mac mini as windows 7 or 10. Although my Intel NUC with Linux Mint 18 looked just as great as windows 7.

• Yes, the size of the text on any monitor can be adjusted thru your screen resolution settings (see image).

• Yes, if you adjust the character size. All displays with higher resolution naturally have smaller text but this can be adjusted.
